The first Russian 3D-service the aerosport visualization (Airtribune.com) is created and successfully tested at the Russian Paragliding Open 2011 championship held in Turkey (Denizli, May 1-7, 2011). The backbone of this service is detailed images of the competition locations and the software for 3D visualization, developed by ScanEx. Space images of the competition territory in Turkey were provided by the French SPOT Image company. [...]
“Atomflot” Fleet Operations Board together with ScanEx Research & Development Center carried out a joint project on operational satellite-based detection of large stamukhas (grounded ice hummocks) in shallow-water areas of the Kara and East-Siberian seas, used for navigation of commercial ships.
