Over the 20-year period of operations on the remote sensing data market ScanEx RDC has significantly improved access to satellite images in Russia. A network of «UniScan™» ground receiving stations of ScanEx Center daily receives raw data from 15 satellites at middle and high resolution (up to 0.7 m) covering the territory of Russia and some CIS countries. An archive of dozens of terabytes of data has already been collected as a result, containing images of world leading RS operators.
Successfully developing geoportal technology over the past few years, ScanEx specialists plan to make access to geodata even more democratic using the Web GeoMixer API software interface, created by ScanEx. [...] Scanex Web GeoMixer API software interface will be available to every user by summer this year.
