TV Center: weather forecast considering the fire situation

In August 2010 — in the period of the fire situation worsening in Central Russia — the Russian “TV Center” channel (the “Sobytiya” broadcast) used maps of the “hot spots” (possible fire blazes) location, detected by satellite data, in order to inform the television audience.
RDC ScanEx thanks the “TV Center” team for their interest to the modern Russian technologies in the field of satellite imagery.
The weather forecasts for August 9 and 10 are presented below (in Russian).
